Dr. Jorge Alio has received a joint tribute from the Egyptian Association of Ophthalmology (The Egyptian Ophthalmology Society) and the Indian Society of Ophthalmology (The All India Ophthalmological Society), during an international conference held in Cairo.
This important award was handed in to Prof. Alio by the presidents of the Egyptian Ophthalmological Society and the All India Ophthalmological Society, to emphasize his international educational work. The event took place during the celebration of «The International Conference of the Egyptian Ophthalmological Society», held annually in the Egyptian capital, between the 12th and 14th March.
Dr. Alio offered two major conferences on the on the «Use of multifocal lenses in cataract surgery» and «Modern corneal surgery». In both topics he is considered one of the leading international specialists.
