Dr. Jorge Alió has published a new scientific article of interest in the journal ‘Ophthalmology Times Europe‘, entitled ‘Extended depth-of-field lenses: Understanding a new player in cataract surgery’.
The professor in Ophthalmology at the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche, talks about the classification of a new generation of very sophisticated intraocular lenses, which are generating great confusion among the general population and among ophthalmologists, because they are different models with different performances.
This publication provides the first international classification of these lenses issued to date, being a relevant fact for ophthalmologists.
